Chiari Malformations (CM) were firstly described by Hans Chiari. Although CM is traditionally classified to four groups, recently Type 0 and type 1.5 were added into classification. There is no a consensus about its pathogenesis at the present. Magnetic resonance imagine is the gold standard for diagnosis of CM. In case of CM associated with syringomyelia, motor and somatosensory evoked potentials were commonly used for planning of treatment and follow-up.
