Regenerative therapy is an developing field of modern medicine in recent years. These treatment methods are; It is applied by activating the existing stem cells in the tissues or placing the stem cells obtained from other sources into the damaged area. Stem cells are generally used for regenerative therapy. Stem cells are obtained from various adult stem cells such as bone marrow, cord blood, Wharton gel, adipose tissue, dental pulp, skin. The field of regenerative medicine is focused on utilizing the primary differentiation property of stem cells. There are gelatinous nucleus pulposus in the center of the intervertebral disc, annulus fibrosus in the fibrocartilage structure in the periphery, and end plates in the cartilage structure on the superior and inferior surface. Disc degeneration is divided into 3 stages: beginning, moderate and severe. Intervertebral disc degeneration is a complex process and its etiology is not well understood. Cellular, biomolecular and genetic studies on disc healing have gained popularity in recent years.
