The use of minimally invasive methods in spine surgery has increased in recent years. One of these methods is instrumentation with the percutaneous pedicle screw-rod system (PPVE). In the PPVE method, the patient`s hospital stay, infection rate, amount of bleeding during surgery, postoperative pain and time to return to daily life are significantly less than in traditional open surgical methods. Because of these advantages, it is preferred to open surgery in suitable patients.
