The thoracholumbar junction is one of the most frequently exposed area of spinal trauma. The large part of the thoracic and lumbar fractures is seen in this region. The most developing deformity is kyphosis in the posttraumatic period. The treatment is difficult to treat if deformity is also developed in the delayed trauma. For this reason, the best treatment approach for thoracolumbar junction trauma is that the correction of deformity as much as possible or prevent deformity. There are no sufficient randomized controlled studies on what the most appropriate method in their treatment is. Anterior, posterior or combined approaches, conservative follow-ups; are different forms of treatment approaches. The common goal of all is to form a stable mechanical structure and provide the correction of deformity.
