Coccydynia is known as pain that occurs due to pathologies of the coccyx. It is clinically characterized by stinging pain and complaints increase especially after sitting position. Although it has many reasons, it is mostly seen after trauma. Hypermobility between the coccyx segments and edema due to osteoporosis are some of the other reasons. The diagnosis should be made radiologically and clinically. It must be differentiated from hip and lumbar pathologies. Most of them can be cured with conservative methods, and some patients may require surgical treatment. There are different treatment protocols for both conservative and surgical methods.
