The basic of spine surgery training is practice. This practice is often created in anatomy laboratories and sometimes through animal experiments, and mostly it is by see and apply. With the development of technology and artificial intelligence in the last quarter, the algorithm of this difficult training has begun to change.

The biggest problems faced by physicians interested in spine surgery, both during and after surgical residency training are; Complications and management of complications. In this context, technology offers solutions that will help us, which increases comfort and reduces risks for both the patient and the physician.

Assistive technological companions that can be used in spine surgery can be classified as spinal navigation, robotic systems, augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR). These technologically supported operating room equipment have now begun to be used in spine surgery in many areas such as accessing the detailed information a surgeon needs, analyzing information and data, focusing, locating, and preventing complications.
