Spinopelvic injuries are usually related with high energy traumas in young adults and they basically occur due to axial loading transferred from spine to pelvis. Fractures and ligament injuries in skeletal system may occur as a result of trauma, but also some major internal organ injuries can be seen. Management of trauma is to restore impaired physiology; ensuring the patient`s resuscitation and stabilizing the general condition of the patient are top priority. In the approach to such traumas, first of all, it is aimed to stabilize the hemodynamic condition with bleeding control, then to prevent complications and organ injuries by means of temporary mechanical stabilization and finally to ensure the mechanical stabilization of the pelvic ring. In the meantime, if sacral fracture is detected, additional examinations and studies will be required. In this way, it is planned to reduce mortality and morbidity and to prevent instability and neurological sequelae that may occur in the future, by early diagnosing a possible injury.
