In addition to the use of traditional treatments against intervertebral disc degeneration, different drug delivery systems are also being researched and developed. Among these, nano-drug carrier systems, with their high biocompatibility, targetability and low side effect profile, are promising in the future in terms of their usability in treatment. In this review, information will be given about drug delivery systems developed for the treatment of intervertebral disc degeneration.
