Facet joints caused to low back pain about 15-40% cases at all of them. Pain, related to facet joint, commonly extended along buttock and proximally of the thigh. It`s also originated from paraspinal area, reduced when lieing down, increased by coughing and associated to positive of spinal flexion-extension test. Pushing of the facet joint can provoke the pain. Radiological imaging, including X-Ray, CT and MRI, revealed that osteophytes, diastasis and/or effusion at the facet joint, synovial cyst, hypertrophy and enclosure of the joint. When origin of the pain did not clearly expose, diagnostic blockage would be performed via facet joint syndrome. The procedures can be performed for diagnosis and/or treatment that are intra-articular, peri-articular and frequently blockage of medial nerve root.
