Pain of sacroiliac joint is commonly occurred, however, diagnosis of it is lower than expected. Diagnosis of sacroiliac joint pain should be kept in mind, then examination and radiological analyses must be evaluated that focused on this area. Sensibility of joint with pushing through sacroiliac sulcus and Yeomans test are main diagnostic exams. Gaenslen ve FABERE tests have lower specifity, but useful for differential diagnosis. In addition, subluxation of the joint can be diagnosed by specifically walking pattern. MRI and CT revealed that edema and/or degenerative changes can be seen on the sacroiliac joint and constituents of it. Injection of local anesthetic drug to sacroiliac joint can provide definitive diagnosis and also treatment. The patients with improving by injection will be ablated by radiofrequency for a long time, if their pain would occur again. Injection for pain of sacroiliac joint is a cost-effective procedure in the spinal surgery.
