Chiari malformation (CM) is a common disease in neurosurgery practice. CM was described that contents of posterior fossa are migrated through cervical spinal canal and different sub types of malformations are identified. Complex chiari malformation is associated with anomalies of craniovertebral junction that were defined recently. We discussed clinical features, radiological evaluation and treatment algorithm for complex chiari malformation.
